LPR (“Green Card”) status:
Our family visa attorneys assist clients in petitioning for lawful permanent resident (LPR or “green card”) status for family members. United States citizens and lawful permanent residents are able to apply for certain family members so they can obtain a “green card”. Depending on the family member’s location, status and circumstances, in some cases we can petition for LPR status while the family member is inside the United States. In other cases, however, the family member must apply from his or her home country. We assist those family members with consular processing at an Embassy abroad, including applications for waivers of inadmissibility when necessary.
Naturalization and Citizenship:
Our family visa attorneys represent individuals who are petitioning for naturalization as United States citizens. Additionally, we represent individuals who already have a claim to United States citizenship through birth to United States citizen parent(s) or grandparent(s). These individuals seek recognition from the United States government that they already hold citizenship.

We help individuals apply for tourist visas (B-2), often to visit family members in the United States or to extend a stay by changing from another non-immigrant category. We assist applicants for student visas (F and M), cultural exchange and work/study visas (J), and religious worker visas (R). We also represent eligible individuals seeking Temporary Protected Status (TPS) or asylum in the United States.
