Stanley P. Walker
Attorney at Law
Founder and Owner Stanley P. Walker graduated from Auburn University in 1992 and Washington and Lee School of Law in 1996. After working as a general practice attorney for roughly 10 years, he pivoted to focusing on immigration law, his specialty for the past 20 years. He founded Southern Star Immigration in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, in 2011. His unique perspective on immigration law stems from his own experience navigating the immigration process, which enhanced his understanding of the challenges faced by his clients and the meticulous attention to detail required in this field.
He has been an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) since 2006 and served as the Chapter Chair of the Central Florida Chapter of AILA from 2017-2019. He is a frequent guest speaker at regional and national immigration conferences. Through AILA, he has served on the national Board of Governors and several national committees, including Consumer Protection and the Unauthorized Practice of Law, Bylaws, Governance, and three Annual Conference Planning Committees. Stanley previously served as a Consultant Attorney to the Consulate of Mexico in Orlando, Florida, from 2013 to 2018. He currently resides in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and enjoys running and practicing Tai Chi martial arts in his free time.
