To date, we have assisted clients from more than 100 countries with their immigration needs. We are particularly proud of our commitment to serving members of the armed forces and their families, wherever they are stationed and including those locally serving at Camp James E. Rudder (U.S. Army Ranger School), Eglin Air Force Base, home to the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Hurlburt Field, Fort Rucker and the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence, Naval Air Station Pensacola, and Tyndall Air Force Base.

An immigration law firm that puts the community first
At Southern Star Immigration, our attorney and his team and staff do more than simply live in the panhandle of Florida. Although we have transitioned to a fully virtual law firm, we donate our time and skills to serve the community. Attorney Stanley Walker frequently provides pro bono and reduced price immigration legal services to our military personnel and their families, victims of domestic violence seeking U visas or VAWA approval, or other individuals with compelling circumstances wishing to remain lawfully in the United States. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and has served on various Central Florida chapter committees including the Department of Motor Vehicles Liaison Committee, Advocacy, and Education Committees. He served as Chapter Chair of the Central Florida Chapter from 2017-2019.
At the local level, we frequently sponsor and participate in local events promoting cultural diversity and immigration reform, while voicing opposition to legislation we regard as anti-immigrant. At the national level, Stanley has engaged in similar activities and previously served on the Board of Directors of Immigrants’ List, the nation’s first pro-immigration Political Action Committee.
Even though the firm provides a modern, virtual practice, Southern Star Immigration retains its traditional ties to community service. We are more than just in the community -- we are involved in our community.
