Stanley P. Walker graduated from Auburn University in 1992 and Washington and Lee School of Law in 1996. He started his legal career with a small, general practice firm, then opened his own law firm in Enterprise, Alabama, where he began practicing immigration law. During the summer of 2006, Stanley opened a branch office in Florida and has maintained an immigration practice in both Alabama and Florida since then. His practice is focused on family based immigration and representing individuals in Immigration Court proceedings. He is the owner of Southern Star Immigration, P.A., with its primary office in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and satellite offices in Pensacola, Florida and Enterprise, Alabama. He has been an active with the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) since 2006 as a member of both the Central Florida and Georgia-Alabama Chapters. He has previously spoken at conferences for both chapters, and was a speaker on an AILA National teleconference for humanitarian reinstatement in 2013. Stanley has served on the DMV and Advocacy Committees for the Central Florida Chapter of AILA, and the AILA national Unauthorized Practice of Law and Consumer Protection Committee. He has served as the Vice-Chair of Education in the past and is the current Executive Vice-Chair for the Central Florida Chapter of AILA. In 2013, Stanley was designated a Consultant Attorney to the Consulate of Mexico in Orlando, Florida by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico. He currently lives in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and enjoys long distance ultra running, cycling and kayaking in his spare time.
